Alaska The Big Move

Yes, you read this correctly we have moved! We just relocated to Anchorage, Alaska. It was so quick I haven't had much time to update everyone. Derrick was offered a new position with his company so we took the big jump and relocated to beautiful Alaska.

We were very lucky and blessed on being able to list and sell our home in less than 30 days. We were able to clean, stage, and post our home is 3 short days. Sell your home in less than 30 days.

It was such a heart ache to sell our first home but we knew that it was for the best. We had such amazing memories there, family events, memories with the kids and fun home projects. We will miss this house but home is where the heart is. 

Moving was exhausting, the moving company came in and packed us all up in less than 3 days.

 

The flight to Alaska was eventful in itself. Traveling with 2 kids, 3 animals, 7 bags, stroller, and oh yes Derrick and I. It was 2 flights (6 hours) and a short lay over (45 mins). It was to say the least highly eventful.

After 12 hours of traveling we finally arrived in Anchorage, Alaska. It was quite the adventure with all the animals but everyone made it safe and sound.

Then we went on the journey of signing and closing on the new house. What a blessing it was to get inside 2 days later 30 minutes before the movers arrived.

Home is where the Heart is. This house is turning into our new home full of love and joy.
