We need to break up the layers first we will heat 1 cup of water on stove till almost rolling boil. pour into a large measuring cup with blue raspberry jello ( I added 3 drops of blue food coloring for added effect). Stir for 45 secs to a minute to avoid any clumps. Next add in 1 cup chilled vodka. Stir stir stir.
Pour into jello shot cups evenly. Place in fridge for 1 hour till the layer stiffens up.

2. use 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup of vodka in a small cooking pot. Bring mixture to almost a boil (bubbly) measure out 1 cup of pina colada mixture (chilled).  remove from heat. Pour in two packets of knox gelatine  stir fast for about 1 minute until thoroughly dissolved. Pour cold pina colada mixture into gel concoction. stir. Pour evenly into cups. Place in the fridge for 1 hour
